Important Back To School Message From Your PTSA

Parents and Community Members-

We have used the PTBoard website platform for the past year as our main way to communicate with all of our members. We have had some success using it as a way to help keep you informed of the happenings of our PTSA as well as the happenings at school.

We were informed this spring that the WA State PTSA was moving their membership website to a new platform. The long and the short of it, we would have had two websites for our Sandburg & DCS PTSA. We understand that getting information in too many places can often times be confusing and a bit overwhelming. With that in mind, we decided to use the WA State PTSA provided website as our ONLY website. 

There is a benefit to this, along with all of the things you have come to love about this site, the member directory will be far easier to use and maintain. The only way you can ensure that your information is shared in the way you wish, is to register yourself and your family on our new website.You may have received an email earlier this week reminding you to sign up as a member. That link may not have worked for some of you. Please go ahead and use the button below to go to the membership application on the new website. 

You will also be able to choose how you prefer to get your information. You will be able to choose between an email preference, text message preference, or both!

We will have PTSA Board Members at the Ice Cream Social/Teacher Meet And Greet event today who are happy to answer any questions and to also help you get registered on our new website so you do not miss any of our Informer Newsletters, enrichment sign-ups, events, and any other special notices that may be sent out by the PTSA. There is also a mobile app for Memberplanet that you may download on either your Apple or Android device. Once you have signed up, you will be able to have all of your school information on the go at your fingertips.
